Limburg an der Lahn is a town and the capital of Limburg-Weilburg district located in the Hesse region of Germany. Limburg an der Lahn stands on the river Lahn and has the popularity of about 34,000 people. The town is located in natural Limburg Basin of the Rhenish Slate Mountains and is surrounded by the ranges of the Taunus and Westerwald. The town of Limburg an der Lahn leads its history from the early middle-ages, when it was an important trade route.
